Robert Wayne Morris Sr.

Robert Wayne "Bobby" "BJ" Morris, Sr., 77, of Elkton, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2025 in Crozet, Va. He was born June 28, 1948 in Harrisonburg and was the son of the late Malcolm Ray Morris and Nancy Jewel Wright Berry.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, David Johnson and Donnie Morris.
Bobby retired from R.R. Donnelley working as a Tool and Die Maker and Maintenance Planner. He also worked for Sperry Marine, North Anna and Westinghouse. He was a former member of the Elkton Volunteer Fire Company. Bobby loved hunting, camping and tinkering around on things in his garage and was a "Jack of all trades". He was a member of the Harrisonburg 1st Church of Nazarene. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Sheila Hensley Morris; son, Bobby Morris Jr. and wife, Mary Beth; a daughter, Teresa Rogers and husband, Charles; step-daughters, Jennifer Lawhon and husband, Brian, Emily Keesling, Cicely Hedrick and husband, Jon; brothers, Glen Edward Johnson, Patrick Morris; sisters, Peggy Rae Silvious, Sandra Ray Coffman, Carol Helmintoller, Toni Ray; grandchildren, Hailey, Tanner, Sarah Paige, Evee, Megan, Chase, Elliot, Delaney, Shane, Seth and wife, Allison, Zachary and wife, Grace and Kyle.
A Funeral Service will be conducted 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton, with Pastor Jim Harrison and Pastor Joe Stoner officiating. Burial to follow at Elk Run Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at the funeral home.
