Kathleen Bezik

A funeral service celebrating the life of Kathleen A. Bezik (née Thomas) will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 13, 2025, at the Jakubs-Waite Funeral Home, 36000 Lakeshore Blvd., Eastlake. Family and friends are welcome to gather for visitation at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Interment will follow at All Souls Cemetery.
Born on July 25, 1965, in Cleveland, to the late Ronald E. and Judy (née Wilson) Thomas, Kathleen passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025.
Kathleen was a beloved and accomplished real estate agent, known not only for her professionalism but also for the warmth and kindness that defined her every interaction. Her radiant smile could light up any room, and her laughter was as genuine as the friendships she cherished.
A devoted sports fan (especially for the Pittsburgh Steelers), she found joy in simple pleasures-spending time in her backyard, sharing stories with friends, and surrounding herself with those she loved most. She also carried a deep love and pride for the United States, often expressing her gratitude for the freedoms, opportunities, and sense of community the country offered. Kathleen believed in the value of hard work, kindness, and patriotism-principles she lived by every day.
She was the devoted wife of Dan Bezik, the loving mother of Ryan Pegoraro and Nicholas DeCapua, the dear sister of the Ronald Thomas Jr. (deceased) and Stephen Thomas, and the cherished aunt of Eric and Taylor Thomas. She will also be lovingly remembered by her longtime friend, George Spiesman, and by countless others whose lives she touched.
Kathleen's light, love, and laughter will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
