Kathleen Flores Bogar

Kathleen Flores Bogar passed away on Sunday, December 21st, 2025, at the age of 93. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank Flores and Carmen Benavides; husband, Frank Bogar; son, Ray Martinez; four brothers, and four sisters. Kathleen is survived by her daughters, Gloria A Rendon, Elizabeth A Martinez, Barbara Sue Peirsol, and Kimberly J Bogar; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and a host of many other family and friends.

Kathleen was born in Galveston, Texas, on August 15th, 1932. She was a resident of Pearland, Texas, for 80 years. Kathleen developed a love for numbers and accounting at an early age, running the register at her family store from the time she was 8 years old. Her love of accounting led her to run Bogar Tax Service for 75 years. Kathleen met her husband, Frank, at Dixie Pipe Sales and they were married for 50 wonderful years.

Kathleen was a woman of immense faith in the Lord. She was a faithful charter member of the Catholic Daughters and St. Helen Catholic Church in Pearland. Kathleen visited Vatican City and the Holy land and was quite the world traveler. She also enjoyed going to casinos, playing Bingo, and most of all, spending time with her family. Kathleen's loving heart and kindness will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Kathleen's family will receive guests during a visitation at Clayton Funeral Home of Pearland, on Thursday, January 8th, 2026, from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm, with a Rosary to be recited by the Catholic Daughters at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held the following day, Friday, January 9th, 2026, at St. Helen Catholic Church commencing at 10:00 am. Interment will follow the Mass at South Park Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
