Kathy Marples

Kathy was an incredible nurse, and a wonderful friend.
She was the smiling face that represented public health in our city.
She inspired us with her boundless energy, dedication to her profession, and nurturing those she loved.
Kathy served others with love, and a gentle kindness, but still had the spirit, and twinkle in her eyes of a joyful child!
I couldn´t attend the services, and, although I hadn´t talked to her in quite sometime, I would always have fond memories of the wonderful times we worked, laughed, and cried together!
Rest in peace my beautiful friend.
Louisville citizens had a friend in you. God holds you in heaven as a beacon of the love, and light he shares with us. You leave this world a better place, and I am blessed to know her.
Thank you Kathy, for just being you.

Kathy was passionate about her work with the Healthy Start program. She was very supportive of me when I started as her coworker; always so knowledgeable and willing to help. She will be missed!
