January 13, 1949 - March 22, 2025
Carmichael, California - DaRosa, Kathleen (Kathy) Faye passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at the age of 76. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Robert F. "Bubba" DaRosa and her parents Lois Clare Fitch and John Jason Jackson. She will forever be missed by her children Jacob Christopher DaRosa and Lindsay Clare-Ann DaRosa who were her pride and joy. She will also forever be missed by her sister-in-law Patricia Tancredy (Joe), daughter in love, Cari Cahill and her sister Beth Jackson. She will forever be missed by her five grandchildren Heather, Rebecca, Sydney, Riley and Bradley. She is survived by two other siblings, Diane Jackson and John Jackson.
Kathy was born in Vallejo, CA. and lived most of her life in Sacramento, CA. She met the love of her life, Bob DaRosa, in high school and they were married for 44 years until his passing in 2017. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in her 20's but eventually worked in the public sector (State of CA) for 32 years, before retiring from the Secretary of State office. She loved all of her amazing friends, especially her sister from another mister, Peggy Duncan and her "cuzzy" Jo Valine. She loved traveling, shopping, laughing, going to the casino, meeting up with her card club group and participating with her Bible study group. She always had a good time no matter where she was or who she was with. She supported both Jake and Lindsay's fundraising efforts and gave to many charities throughout her entire life. She was always there for you if you needed anything at all. When you met Kathy, you hit the jackpot and were blessed for life!
A celebration of Kathy's life will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at Midtown Church, located at 2225 19th Street, Sacramento, CA. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Adrenal Diseases Foundation (www.nadf.us).

So sad to hear of the loss of our dear cousin in law, Kathleen. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit with her and Cousin Robert when they came to Boston. Her sparkling eyes could light up a room! Memories of her are forever a treasure.

I met Kathy when we both worked at Legislative Counsel. One of my fondest memories was when my two kids and I took a "vacation" to Redding for a visit with Bob and Kathy. The kids played and we drank wine. It was great visit. My prayers are with Lindsay and Jacob and all the family.

Kathy, I was so shocked to hear that you passed, I had no idea. Every time I think of you, I think of us laughing hard. I really enjoyed seeing you at work all the time because you were always so happy. Thank you for being my friend. Thank you for including me in your events, it was always a blast. My deepest condolences to your beautiful daughter and your son and all those who I know will miss you terribly. Rest peacefully in the presence of God´s comfort. Until we meet again..
