Kathleen Marie (Grossi) DiBari, 79, a cherished and esteemed member of the Milford community, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025, in Barnstable, Massachusetts.
Born on December 13, 1945, in Providence, Rhode Island, to the late Vincent and Veronica R. (Riley) Grossi.
Kathleen's life was a testament to her unwavering spirit and her educational journey led her to the Salter School in Worcester, Massachusetts, where she earned an Associate's Degree in Medical Transcription, a field in which she would excel and leave a lasting impact.
Kathleen's career was marked by dedication and professionalism, particularly during her tenure as a Supervisor for the Medical Transcription Department at Newton Wellesley Hospital. Her meticulous nature and leadership skills were highly regarded, having worked in many area hospitals throughout the Boston region.
Beyond her professional life, Kathleen's heart was always with her family. She is survived by her loving children, her daughter Amy DiBari of Centerville, MA, and her son Johnathan DiBari and his wife Sara of Gardner, MA. Kathleen's guidance and love shaped their lives profoundly, and her legacy will continue through them.
She was a sister to three remarkable women, Regina Kana and her husband Mark of Flanders, New Jersey, Maureen Laquerre and her husband Leo of Summerville, South Carolina, and Veronica Taft of Summerville, South Carolina. She was also an aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Kathleen's life was further enriched by the memories shared with her late husband, Louis DiBari, and her late brothers, Vincent and Richard Grossi, whose presence remained a comforting memory in her heart. Kathleen's life was a beautiful mosaic of moments shared with family and friends, marked by laughter, wisdom, and kindness.
Her presence was a beacon of light in the lives of those who knew her, and her influence extended far beyond her immediate circle. She was a woman of grace and fortitude, navigating life's challenges with resilience and a smile that could light up a room.
Calling Hours will be held Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 8:30-9:30 am from the BUMA-SARGEANT FUNERAL HOME, 42 Congress Street, Milford, to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 187 Hopedale Street, Hopedale.
Burial will be Private.
