Kathleen "Honey" Condon Saxe, born on March 12, 1934, in Sioux City, Iowa, passed away peacefully in her hometown on Monday, August 18, 2025, at the age of 91. A beloved figure to many, Honey was known for her vibrant personality, unique style, infectious laughter, and boundless kindness.

Honey, the daughter of Charles Harrison and Marie (Metz) Condon, spent her formative years in Sioux City, where she graduated from Central High School. She furthered her education at the University of Nebraska, proudly becoming a member of Kappa Alpha Theta during her college years. Her professional journey led her to a successful career in the banking industry, where she served with distinction as vice president of Valley State Bank before continuing her career at First National in Sioux City.

She was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening, and expressed her creativity through beautiful art and exceptional decorating skills. Friends and family relished her culinary talents, as she was known to be a fabulous cook. Additionally, her adventurous spirit shone bright through her love for traveling, as she had the great fortune to explore various corners of the world throughout her life.

Honey will be profoundly missed by those who knew and loved her, especially her several nieces; and nephews. Her parents; husband, Leonard; brother, Charlie (Pat) Condon; and sister, Susan (Patrick) Feathers predeceased her, leaving behind cherished memories and stories that will continue to inspire and comfort her family.

A celebration of life will be held in her honor on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, located at 3220 Stone Park Blvd, Sioux City, IA, 51104. Following the service, there will be a luncheon and time of fellowship at Minervas.
