Kathleen G. Kuniega

Kuniega Kathleen G. (nee Oppelt Meehan) Of York, PA, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025 at YorkView Rehab/Nursing Home in York, PA. Born in Atlantic City, NJ, and formerly of East Camden, NJ, Kathleen attended St. Joseph pro-Cathedral Elementary School followed by attending Camden Catholic High School. Following graduation, Kathleen worked for the Bank of New Jersey as an Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of the Loan Department. Kathleen is the daughter of the late Gertrude Meehan (nee Oppelt) and Raymond Meehan. She is the beloved wife of Joseph M. Kuniega, loving mother of Michael Kuniega, both of York, PA, brother of Raymond Meehan of Glassboro, NJ, and sister of Maureen Lee of Carmel, IN. Kathleen is also preceded in death by her sister Patricia Reynolds of Cherry Hill, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral on Monday, October 13, 2025, at Holy Innocents Church, 1337 E. Hunting Park Avenue, Phila., PA 19124. Her Visitation begins at 10 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 A.M. Interment Sunset Memorial Park, 333 County Line Rd., Feasterville, PA 19006.
