Kathleen Carol Magee Tuckey was born on November 18, 1947. She was one of six children born to Rachel Bates and Floyd Magee.
She has three siblings still alive today: Butch, Darlene, and Terry.
Kathleen passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 9, 2025.
She was married to Robert Tuckey.
Kathleen is survived by one daughter, Nancy Magee, as well as four grandchildren: Tandie, Tanisha, Kevin, and Stormy. She also leaves behind twelve great-grandchildren: Junior, Gabriel, Christopher, Emily, Devotion, Lorisa, Leah, Shelby, Hudson, Capri, Ryan, and Summer.
Although she had cerebral palsy, she was determined not to let it define her. She was strong, funny, and sassy, making friends everywhere she went. She loved going to Wendover and hanging out with her best friend, Kenny. Together, they went on many adventures, including out-of-town trips, rodeos, and the annual 24th of July parade with the grandkids.
Her love of country music filled her life, and she enjoyed line dancing at Charlie's Bar on weekends. She had a deep love for animals, especially her parakeets, Peety and Yellow, whom she had for many years.
Kathleen cherished spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids, who lovingly called her "GG." She truly enjoyed being around family.
A special thanks to Inspiration Hospice for the tender and loving care Kathleen received from their entire team. We would also like to thank the staff at Paramount Health and Rehabilitation Center for their kindness and attentive care over the past four years. She loved them all and appreciated everything they did for her, as well as all the wonderful friends she made there.
