Kathleen McFarlane Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jun. 20, 2024.
Kathleen McFarlane, age 77 of Appleton, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. Kathy was born in Green Bay to the late Alexander Thomas "Tom" and Ione (Oldenburg) McFarlane. Kathy enjoyed reading. She was an avid gardener - preserving and canning whatever she grew. Kathy made many different jams and jelly and enjoyed knitting to pass the time. Her family would describe her as a good listener, who made friends very easily. She was a big Elvis fan and that was evident by her vast collection of memorabilia. Kathy was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
Kathy is survived by her children, Tom (Karen) Cleereman, Dennis (Lisa) Cleereman and Kim (Daniel) Kirby; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Julie McFarlane and Steve (MaryAnne) McFarlane and sister-in-law, Barb McFarlane. She is further survived by aunts, uncles and many cousins.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Daniel and Gary and one great-grandchild.
A Graveside Service for Kathy will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at St. Edward and Isidore Catholic Cemetery in Suamico.
