Kathleen Clare Nicholson

Kathleen Clare Nicholson was born on June 29th 1942 in Sewickley, PA. She passed away on December 11th 2025. She is preceded in death by her parents Harvey A. and Katherine L. Robertson, sister Ruth E. Robertson, son Daniel A. Nicholson, and her son in law James K. Hooge. Kathleen is survived by her sister Cindy Robertson Lindgren, daughters AnneMarie Hooge and Diane Nicholson, and grandchildren Laura Katherine and James Philip Hooge.

Kathleen was proud of her Air Force military service and later, retired from civil service as a government auditor after many years. She was a devoted Christian and firmly believed in supporting charitable organizations, often saying, "the Lord gives to me because He's giving through me." Kathleen was also giving of her time, volunteering her financial knowledge to offer tax assistance through a volunteer organization, as well as rocking at -risk infants in a hospital.

On moving to Boerne in 2022, Kathleen found home at Boerne Bible Church and their Friday morning Bible Study. She most loved living close to her family, providing comfort and ease to her daughter AnneMarie as the family journeyed through her son in law's terminal diagnosis. She was deeply loved and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
