Kathleen O'Brien

KATHLEEN H. O'BRIEN age 68, cherished daughter of the late John H. and Helen (nee Dahn) O'Brien; dearest sister of Dennis (wife Deborah) and Patricia Vitale (husband Joseph); beloved aunt of Shannon Vitale, Anne Lang, Erin Abed, and Bridget O'Brien; great-aunt of Hannah, Abby, Maddy, Jack, Annaliese and AJ; dear cousin and friend of many; survived by her canine companion Buster.

Kathy was born on January 7, 1957, in Cleveland, Ohio. She attended St. Maragaret Mary grade school and graduated from Regina High School in 1975. She worked for many years as an office manager and enjoyed spending her summers at the family cottage on the Grand River. Kathy was an avid reader and loved listening to the oldies. She was a loyal fan of the Browns, the Indians, and the Cavaliers. A social butterfly, with a great sense of humor and she was always fun to be around. She loved animals. She was a member of The Divine Word Catholic Church. Kathy will be remembered for her kind heart and friendly spirit.

Relatives and Friends are invited to meet for Mass of Christian Burial SATURDAY, July 26, 2025 at Divine Word Catholic Church, 8100 Eagle Rd, Kirtland, OH 44094, at 12 NOON. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Kathy at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY 4-7 PM.
