SHARON BARRETT, age 52, cherished daughter of Neil (Esther Trepal) Barrett and Deborah (nee Recko) Barrett, beloved sister of Steven Barrett and very close friend of Charles “Charlie” Vanderhoof.
Sharon was born April 24, 1973, in Cleveland, Ohio. She graduated from Euclid High School and went on to receive her bachelor's degree in accounting from Ohio University. Sharon liked traveling (anywhere in the world) and live music, making a point of attending the New Orleans Jazz Fest every year. She was a proud member of the Dead Heads, and had a wide circle of like-minded friends! For a complex person, she lived a simple life. What she treasured was music, books, jigsaw puzzles and of course her dog Althea. You recognized her by her T-shirt, jeans and hobo bag. Whether you spent an afternoon or a lifetime with her, Sharon impressed you with her intelligence, her laughter and her sweet disposition. Sharon’s kind heart will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
