JUDITH MISCH

Judith "Judy" Misch, age 77, of Mentor, passed away on February 19, 2026.

Born on April 22, 1948, to the late Anthony and Adelaide Misch, Judy was raised in Euclid and made her home in Mentor for the past 37 years. She was a proud graduate of Euclid High School, Class of 1967.

Judy dedicated 25 years of her career as a hairdresser at Andre Duval in Severance Center. After its closure, she continued to serve others by working various positions in local nursing homes.

She had a special love for collecting teddy bears and figurines, proudly amassing over 50 bears. Each one was carefully named, often in honor of a special person or meaningful place. Judy was outgoing and friendly, maintaining close relationships with several of her high school friends. She frequently organized outings and lovingly picked them up, as many no longer drove. Even when medical challenges slowed her down and eventually prevented her from driving, she remained devoted to her friendships, keeping in touch by phone and always checking on everyone's well-being.

Judy was known for her thoughtfulness and generosity, never missing a special occasion and always having a small gift ready for family and friends. She also faithfully served as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Noel Catholic Church.

She is survived by her sisters, Maryann Ruff (Richard, deceased) and Kathleen (Donald) Rood; her nephews, Alan Misch, Paul (Laurie) Misch, Daniel Misch, and Donald (Jennifer) Rood; her niece, Megan Rood; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother David, sister-in-law Susan Misch Doran, and brother in law Richard Ruff.

Judy's warmth, kindness, and unwavering care for others will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 7575 Bellflower Road in Mentor on Tuesday February 24, 2026 at 10 AM, where the family will receive friend's one hour before from 9-10 AM.

Interment All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.
