Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Friend
Kathleen Ann Edelmuth, born January 31, 1941, in Cleveland, Ohio, entered into eternal rest on October 29, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Kathleen lived a life full of adventure, kindness, and grace. During the golden age of air travel, she worked as a flight attendant for Northwest Airlines, a career that fueled her lifelong love of world travel and connecting with people from all walks of life. Her journeys inspired countless stories that she shared with warmth, humor, and pride always reminding those around her to embrace life with curiosity and joy.
At home, Kathleen delighted in life's simple pleasures. She was an avid reader, a fine cook who loved preparing family favorites, and took great joy in decorating for the holidays and strolling with her beloved Westies while chatting with neighbors. She also cherished the friendships and creativity she found through her gardening club. To her family, she was affectionately known as MiMi-the heart of every celebration and the maker of the world-famous "MiMi Cake," a birthday tradition that will live on in every sweet memory.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her beloved parents, William R. O'Donnell and Kathryn O'Donnell. She is survived by her devoted husband, Mike; her daughter, Amy (Shawn) Keys; her son, Will; and her siblings, Patricia Fitzgerald and William O'Donnell. She will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Christopher Keys, Andrew Keys, Caitlin Edelmuth, and Lauren Edelmuth, who brought her endless pride and joy.
A visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Germantown, Tennessee, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. A reception will follow to celebrate Kathleen's beautiful life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice in Kathleen's memory.
Her family and friends will remember her as someone who lived fully, loved deeply, and left the world brighter than she found it.
