Kathleen Radde Obituary
July 2, 1943 - March 17, 2025
Kathleen Diane Radde (Ulmer), beloved wife, mom, grandma "Gigi," sister, aunt, and friend, left this world on March 17, 2025. She was born on July 2, 1943, to William and Eleanor B. Ulmer. Kathy was a 1963 graduate of DeVilbiss High School. She met the love of her life, Richard K. Radde, in 1961, and they were married on August 22, 1964. Together, they built a life filled with love and family, raising two children and later welcoming grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Kathy is survived by her devoted husband of over 60 years; her children, Richard (Stacey) and Hollie (Matt); her grandchildren, Dylan (Jerika), Ian (Courtney), Ellie and John; and her great-grandchildren, Journey, Payton, Mason, and Vayda. Preceding her in death were her mother; father; her siblings, June Rose, Mary, Bill, Sue, and Ted. She is also survived by her siblings, Bonnie (Jim), and John; and her sister-in-law Joanne; as well cherished family members, Rhonda, Tony, Debbie, Stacy, Andrea, and Connie; and nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Kathy was loving, attentive and generous, always putting others first and touching the lives of many with her compassion and selflessness. Her family is grateful to the nurses and staff at Flower Hospital Davita, as well as Dr. Rao, Dr. Diemiguel, Dr. Kasunic, and Danielle, for their dedicated care.
The visitation to celebrate Kathy's life will be held 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 28th, and 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 29th, followed by the service at 11:00 a.m., at Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Ave., Toledo, Ohio. Casual attire preferred. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lutheran Church of Our Saviour or the Amyloidosis Foundation.
