Kathleen Roller Obituary
Born in 1942, Kathleen dedicated herself to her faith, a former parishioner of Ascension of our Lord in Kensington to her current parish, St. Gabriels in Norwood by attending Mass regularly, taking part in charitable causes, caring for those in need, and reciting her Rosary daily. You could always rely on her to pray to St. Anthony for anyone that needed something to be found.
She is the loving daughter of the late William and Kathryn Roller. Dear sister of Michael (Eileen) Roller, the late Patricia Hannan (the late Dennis), and the late William (the late Mary, the late Ann) Roller. Devoted Aunt Kate of 11 nieces and nephews, 23 greats and 8 great-greats. Also survived by many cousins.
For many years, she worked at Sears Roebuck on the Boulevard until its closure, and then continued her career at a family doctor's office until her retirement. A lifelong resident of the Kensington section of Philadelphia, she later moved to Delaware County to be closer to family after retirement.
Kathleen cherished her time spent with loved ones, creating fond memories at the family mountain house in her early years and enjoying summers in North Wildwood after retirement. She took great joy in spoiling her nieces and nephews and had a special bond with her beloved four-legged friends, Lacie and Happy. Always ready for an adventure, she embraced life with enthusiasm and warmth.
She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who will carry her memory in their hearts forever.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Saturday from 9:00 AM until 9:45 AM at the Church of St. Gabriel, Mohawk Ave, Norwood. Followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory to Little Flower Catholic High School 1000 W. Lycoming St. Phila., PA 19140 would be appreciated.
