Kathleen A. Scavone

Kathleen A. Scavone, age 57 of Waldwick, NJ died peacefully Friday, February 18, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Kathleen was born in Brooklyn, NY and was raised in Waldwick, NJ. Kathleen was a Certified Nurses Assistant with Bristol Glen in Newton, NJ. Kathleen was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Kathleen Scavone. Kathleen is survived by her five devoted brothers: Robert and his wife, Eileen of Spring Lake, NJ, Stephen and his wife, Lisa of Highland Beach, FL, Thomas and his wife, Gwen of Wyckoff, NJ, Edward and his wife, Christine of Mt. Pleasant, SC and James of Waldwick, NJ. Also surviving are her 13 nieces and nephews: Katelyn Brady and her husband, Michael, Daniel, Robert, Conor, Claire, Christopher, Jack, Nicholas, Kevin, Luke, James, Julia and Alexander Scavone, along with her 2 great nephews: Jack and Patrick Brady. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 25, 2022 from 2 – 4, 7 – 9 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Nativity, 315 Prospect Street, Midland Park, NJ with the interment to follow at St. Luke's Cemetery, Ho Ho Kus, NJ.
