Of Orchard Park, entered into rest February 9, 2026. Beloved wife of 57 years to the late Gordon J. "Gordy" Sheffer; devoted mother of Mary Sheffer, Sarah (Kenneth) Raab, Susan (Kevin) Hildebrand, and Gordon Sheffer; cherished grandmother of Matthew, Thomas (Payge), Kathleen, Nathan, Mary, Rachel, Oliver, and Cove; adored great-grandmother of Layla and Thomas Jr.; special grandmother to Ava, Everett, and Vienna; loving daughter of the late George and Mary (nee Burke) Gallagher; dear sister of Raymond (late Paula) Gallagher, Colleen (late Richard) Connell, Michael (Edward), late George, late Jack (Lucy), late William (late Kay), and the late Patrick Gallagher; also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave., on Monday (February 16th) from 3-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 3148 Abbott Rd., Orchard Park on Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock. Please assemble at Church. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery. Kathy was active member at the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, where she was also involved with the Altar and Rosary Society. She will be remembered for her love of family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be me made to the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Altar and Rosary Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
