Kathleen Soucy Obituary
Born in Eaton, NY, to Robert and Doris Niles, Kathie lived a life filled with love, generosity, and devotion to family and community.
She is survived by her siblings, Elaine Gibson and Robert Niles; her daughters, Mariel (Robert) Cooke, Patsy (Steve) Reinagel, and Marcia (Jim Munding) Soucy; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her long-time partner, James Paul.
Kathie spent most of her life in Spencerport, NY, where she raised her three daughters. She was an active member of the Spencerport Lions Club, Westside Parents Without Partners, and several other community organizations.
Affectionately known by many as "Mom Soucy," Kathie's heart, hands, and home were always open to others. Her warmth and kindness touched all who knew her.
A small graveside service will be held in Eaton Village Cemetery, on November 14th at 11am, There will be a celebration of her life at Marcia's house on November 15th from 1pm until 3pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kathie's memory to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
