Kathleen Tanner Obituary
Born in Waco, TX, on March 19, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence James Tanner, Jr. and Mary Edna (Hunt) Tanner. Kathy will be fondly remembered as a supportive family member, a part time pianist at church, a choir member, and a daycare provider (where she lovingly cared for and nurtured many children). She also created beautiful, intricate needlework. Kathy was sociable and had a great sense of humor. She was and is loved and will be missed.
Kathy is survived by her sister, Susan G. Smedley (Michael) and nieces, Nadine Dorrington, Serena Smedley, Jane Pisarcik, Jennifer Holley and Teresa Smedley.
All services will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kathy's memory to Middletown Baptist Church, Attn: McCloskey Ministries, 419 Armstrong Corner Road, Middletown, DE 19709 or online by clicking here.
