Kathleen Wilkinson Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Kathleen M. Wilkinson, 84 who entered into eternal rest at the Eleanor Nursing Care Center, Hyde Park, NY on February 14, 2026. Born in Poughkeepsie, NY on July 16, 1941, she was the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (Sutka) Wilkinson. Kathleen was employed as a home health care worker for over 35 years and took great pride in helping and caring for others. She had a deep faith in God and watched church services on T.V. when she wasn’t physically able to attend Mass. In addition to her brother, James Wilkinson, survivors also include her daughters, Maureen, Katie, Marianne, Karen and sons Jimmy and Chris as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her son Timothy. A mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am on Wednesday March 4, 2026 at St. Mary’s Church, 231 Church St. Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 with Father Perez Officiating. Burial will be held in the spring at Calvary Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Joseph J. Darrow, Sr. Funeral Home, Inc. 39 So.
