Beloved wife and mother
Kathryn Ruth Arista went to be with our Lord on November 10, 2024, at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born on November 25, 1963, in Sterling City, Texas, where she spent her childhood and later graduated from Sterling City High School in 1982.
Kathryn later would meet the love of her life, Billy Arista and they married on June 29, 1985. They were blessed with one daughter, Erika. Billy and Kathy had recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. She loved spending time with family, hunting, fishing, and the casino and enjoyed cooking her favorite comfort foods.
She is survived by her husband Billy, daughter Erika and husband Ricardo, grandson Gabriel, father Gary Maricle, mother and stepfather Lois and James Archer, brother Gary Maricle Jr. and wife Tammy and family, stepbrother Brent Archer and family, along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Kathryn will be remembered for petite stature and fierce strong personality. But most of all for her kind and loving heart. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home of Brady.
