Dearest Kathryn,
I am so grateful that the fates allowed our paths to cross, and so sad that they took you away so soon.
I so enjoyed how we together tackled the many problems and projects over the years. We always managed to pull through, and even have a few laughs along the way. The next time there is a crisis at 264, I will have to fight the impulse to reach out to you and get your input.
The quiet courage and grace with which you faced your challenges in recent years has left a lasting impression on me.
Thank you for the faith you always showed in me. Thank you for all the warm words and your many acts of kindness.
I will miss working with you. I will miss my friend.
You are forever in my heart. May you rest in peace.
