Kathryn "Jane" Brallier, age 85, of Warsaw, cherished mother, grandmother, and a beloved member of her community, passed away on September 27, 2025, at Miller's Merry Manor in Warsaw, Indiana. She was born on September 29, 1939, in Bluffton, Indiana, the daughter of Ferrel and Justine (Brickley) Gardenour, who predeceased her in death. She married Arthur Brallier on January 9, 1971 in Uniondale, Indiana. He passed away on January 10, 2007.
Kathryn graduated from Union High Schools in Wells County in 1957. Throughout her life, she embodied the spirit of dedication and joy, reflected in her numerous passions and interests. A devoted pianist, Kathryn found immense joy in music and shared this love as a member of the Celebration United Methodist Church, where she added beauty and grace through her talent.
Her green thumb flourished in her gardening pursuits, where her garden was a sanctuary of vibrant colors and fragrances, just as her heart was a sanctuary for all who knew her. She had an unending love for her grandchildren and derived great joy from sharing her life with them, along with her seven beloved great-grandchildren. Additionally, her affection extended warmly to her cat, Zoey, who provided comfort and companionship.
Kathryn will be deeply missed by her sons, Kirk (Linda) Swaidner of Winona Lake and Scott (Nannette) Swaidner of Pierceton, as well as her grandchildren: Ashley Riggins, Scott Swaidner, McKenzie Harness and Mary Bradley. Their lives have been enriched immeasurably by her unwavering love and support over the years.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Sandy Gardenour, and a great-grandson, Cameron Fairchild.
