Kathryn Childers Obituary
Kathryn Ann Childers of Gainesville, GA passed away January 30, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Ann was born in Atlanta, GA to the late Clarence Preston Archer and Clara Mae Wright Archer. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Richard Childers, Sr.; sons, Robert Joseph Childers, James Richard Childers, Jr., William Daniel Childers. grandsons, Richie Childers, and Casey Maynor.
She is survived by her daughters and sons in-law, Diane & Ricky Tatum, Shirley & Thomas Johnson; son Michael Edwin Childers; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Wheeler Funeral Home in Covington, GA. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Monday, February 3, 2025 in the chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home in Covington, GA. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge, GA.
