Lenorse Scott, aka Pig, a devoted servant of faith, family, and community, a giver of gifts, truly the life of the party as a master checker player to enjoying his love for sports. Known to bring laughter and smiles to anyone in his path. He passed away peacefully leaving behind a legacy of commendations, hard work, dedication, and love.

Lenorse was a proud graduate of Johnson High School, Class of 1974, shortly after, he answered the call to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Army. During his time in the military, he had the opportunity to travel the world, including time spent in Germany, experiences he carried with him throughout his life. A man of many skills, Lenorse aka Scott, was known for his strong work ethic and versatility. Over the years he worked in several trades, always taking pride in the work of his hands and providing dependable service to the people around him.

Scott was a deacon of deep faith and commitment to the church. He faithfully served as a Deacon and was affiliated with several churches throughout his life, including Antioch, Colbert Grove, Holly Creek, Roger's Chapel, and Cross Plain. His presence and service were a blessing to many congregations.

He was formerly married and later shared his life with significant companions. Though he had no biological children, Lenorse embraced his role as a father figure to his stepchildren (Carolyn) and extended family, offering guidance, support, and love.

Lenorse was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Katie Mae Scott and Moses Scott, and his sister, Lurline Scott Stephens.

He leaves to cherish his memory two loving sisters, Mozell Bailey (Cedrick) and Margie Mae Scott; his brother-in-law Sammy Stephens; his best friend & brother in Christ, Reverend Scotty Randolph, his favorite cousin Reverend Bud Curry, a special friend, Rosalynn a host of devoted friends, cousins, nieces, and nephews who will forever hold him in their hearts.

Lenorse Scott will be remembered for his keen imagination, his humorous spirit, his infamous personality, and the kindness he extended to all who knew him.
