Kathryn “Katie” Elizabeth Heller, 74, of Fond du Lac, died on March 10, 2026 while under the compassionate care of Edenbrook in Fond du Lac. Born on December 22, 1951, in Fond du Lac, she was the daughter of Armand and Blanche Hauser.
Katie is survived by her husband, Orville Heller. Together, they were members of the Catholic War Veterans Good Shepherd Post 1329, and Orville remains active in the organization.
Katie was the youngest of five Hauser children. She enjoyed bingo and loved her cat, Callie. Married to Orville for 29 years, she is also preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Michael Hauser, Susie Lange, Jim Hauser, and Tom Hauser.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, particularly the children of her sister, Susie Lange from Fond du Lac, who remained present throughout her lifetime.
Orville extends gratitude to the healthcare workers who cared for Katie during her illness.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Ledgeview Memorial Park Chapel, followed by service at 11:00 AM and burial in the cemetery.
