Kathryn "Kitty" Kirsche, 73, of Cartersville, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2022. Funeral services will be held, 12:00pm Saturday afternoon in the Victory Baptist Church with Pastor Donald Lewis officiating. She will lie in state at the church 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be 1:30pm Wednesday August 24, 2022 in the Georgia National Cemetery. Kitty worked for 17 years at the Waffle House on Glade Rd. She was the Dean of Women Students at Antioch Baptist Bible College in Cartersville and was a member of Victory Baptist Church. Kitty loved her dogs and animals. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Edward Kirsche of Cartersville; son, Robert Eugene Heard of Jacksonville, FL; daughter Robbie (Robert) Binstock of Springfield, TN; step children, Wendy Kirsche of Meriweather, Mellissa Osmolski of Florida, Shannon Freeman of Kennesaw, Dana Vallandingham of Colorado and Edward George Kirsche, Jr. of Canton; sister, Connie (Buzz) Bailey of Florida; brother, Don Allen of Douglasville; 3 grandchildren, 13 step grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren also survive. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00-8:00. Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101 770-974-3133.
