Kathryn Krake's Memorial Service Video
Kathryn Mary Krake, age 59 of Hortonville, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 6, 2024 in Appleton. Kathryn was born on July 4, 1965 in Menasha to the late Howard and Sandra (Pakalski) Berens. She married Ron Krake on November 16, 2001 in Medina. Kathy was a loving mom, grandma, wife, sister and friend. She loved helping any and everyone, whether it was through making meals, delicious treats or giving those a place to go who needed it. Kathy loved camping, cooking and 4-wheeling. Kathy had the biggest heart and loved no one more than her boys and grandchild. Her memory will live on through all those who loved her.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Ron; children, Jeff Langner, Brad (Sheena) Langner and Nick Langner and granddaughter, Olivia Langner. Her siblings, Mike (Helen) Berens, Paul (Karen) Berens, David Berens, Jim (Erika) Brandt, Cheryl (Peter) Lingnofski and Sue (Pat) Wunderlich. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her brother, Mark and her step-father, William Brandt.
The Memorial Service for Kathy will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Borchardt Moder Funeral Home in Hortonville with Rev. Kevin Dembinski officiating. The visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
