Kathryn L. Luzzi

Kathryn L. Luzzi, 82, of Bradford, passed away peacefully , Wednesday, November 26, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at her residence.

Born on October 10, 1943, in Olean, NY, she was a daughter of the late Clarence H. and Esther Ellen (Bass) Mott.

She was a graduate of Olean Area High School. After graduating, she attended Bradford Hospital School of Nursing and earned her LPN degree.

On January 22, 1966, at St. Bernard Church, she married Francis J. "Dude" Luzzi, who preceded her in death on October 10, 2001.

Kathryn worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Bradford Regional Medical Center, for over 40 years.

She attended St. Bernard Church and volunteered for Meals on Wheels. Kathryn loved to knit hats and scarves for her family, and donated many sets to less fortunate people. She also loved quilting and reading.

Surviving are six daughters, Gayle (John) Conners, of Oswego, NY, Julie Luzzi, of Pittsburgh, Jill Cukanow, of Pittsburgh, Joan Luzzi, of Boston, MA, Gina (Ron) Uhl, of Bradford and Leah DeFlippo, of Bradford, two grandchildren, Nicholas Cukanow and Samuel Cukanow, two sisters, Marcia Mott, of Texas and Linda Husted, of North Carolina, and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Dude, two sisters, Elizabeth Wares and Jane Hare and four brothers, Richard Mott, Jerry Mott, Kurt Mott, and Steven Mott.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM in St. Bernard Church with Fr. Ed Walk, as Celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
