Kathryn Noorman Obituary
Kentwood, MI
Kathryn "Kaye" Noorman (Baas), age 94, went to her heavenly home on Monday, May 29, 2023. Kaye worked at the YMCA for many years, and was affectionately known as "Grandma Kaye". She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; son, Richard; and sons-in-law, Charles Fennema and Jim Lytle. Kaye will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jacquelyn (Roger) VanderLaan, Ruth Lytle, David (Mary) Noorman, Karla (David) Bolton, Bonnie (Jim) Gaskell; daughter-in-law, Laurie Noorman; 20 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Gerry Noorman; and many nieces and nephews. The family will greet visitors on Friday, June 2, from 4 - 8 pm at Stroo Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 3, at 11 am with an hour of visitation prior to the service at Kelloggsville Christian Reformed Church, 610 - 52nd St. SE, with Rev. Ronald Noorman officiating. Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to South Christian High School Music Boosters or Spectrum Health Hospice.
