It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kathryn Ann Pappert, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Kathryn left this world on Monday, October 13th, 2025, at the age of 78, surrounded by her loving family in her hometown of Marion, Ohio.
Kathryn was born on Wednesday, December 4th, 1946, in Marion, Ohio. She lived her entire life in Marion, where she cultivated deep roots and was cherished by all who knew her. Known for her kind heart and warm smile, Kathryn touched the lives of many.
Kathryn is survived by her devoted daughters: Teena (Tony Baldwin) Pappert, Teresa Roberts, and Sabrina (Don) Miracle, who were a constant source of pride and joy in her life. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Matthew (Melissa) Pappert, Eric Pappert, Brett (Austin) Pappert, Lindsey Pappert, Anthony Roberts, Rachel (Trey) Ferguson, Jessica (Ben) Newsome, Andrea Miracle, and Hailey Baldwin, along with her 21 cherished great-grandchildren.
Preceding Kathryn in death were her parents, Francis and Thelma Postell, her beloved son Bart Pappert, Son-in-law Allen,and many siblings who have also gone before her to eternal rest.
Kathryn worked at General Mills as a diligent packer, where she made lasting friendships with her colleagues. Even after retirement, she continued to live a life full of energy and joy.
Her greatest joys were found in the simple pleasures—shopping for her favorite outfits, tending to her flourishing garden, and planting beautiful flowers that mirrored her vibrant spirit. An enthusiast of the great outdoors, Kathryn cherished every moment spent under the open sky, surrounded by nature’s beauty.
Visitation will be Monday, October 20, 2025 from 4 PM to 6 PM, with a Funeral Service on Tuesday at 1 PM at Edwards Funeral Service, 318 Mt. Vernon Ave., Marion, Ohio. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery.
The family would like to express their deep appreciation to Edwards Funeral Service Hughes-Allen Chapel for handling the funeral arrangements, ensuring a fitting farewell for Kathryn.Kathryn Ann Pappert will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
Her legacy of love, resilience, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all those who had the privilege to know her. May she rest in peace.
