It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kathryn Dail Sparrow, age 61. Kathryn had been battling medical Issues for the past five years and passed away on December 30, 2025, at Hampden Hills Post Acute Nursing Home in Aurora, CO
Kathryn was born on June 20. 1964, in Alamosa, Colorado, the youngest of six children born to Gene and Mary Sparrow.
She is survived by her siblings: Gary (Sharon) Sparrow of Spring Branch, TX: Glenn (Marsha) Sparrow of South Fork, CO; and Linda Sparrow of Alamosa, CO. She is also survived by her children. Bridget (Garrett) Sparrow-Vigil of Alamosa, CO, and James Bailey of Alamosa, CO; and her grandchildren, Tiffany Sparrow, Brandy Sparrow, Matilda Sandoval, Elizabeth Sandoval, and Keyton Vigil.
Kathryn is further survived by her nieces and nephews: August (Sarah) Sparrow of South Fork. CO; Jacqueline (Jeffery) Sparrow of Colorado Springs, CO; and Samantha (Eric) Sparrow of Kingwood, TX, as well as many grandnieces, a grandnephew, and cousins.
She was preceded In death by her parents. Gene and Mary Sparrow: her sons, Brandon Bailey and Brian Witherbee: her brother, Timothy Sparrow: and her sister, Allison Sparrow.
Cremation has been chosen. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
