Kathy Boneff

Kathleen A. Boneff, 73, of Fort Wayne, died Friday September 22, 2023 at Lutheran Hospital. Kathy was born in Fort Wayne on October 24, 1949, the daughter of the late Donald and Marjorie (Jehl) Boneff. She graduated from Central Catholic High School with the Class of '68 and worked for many years as a secretary at Lincoln Life. After retiring from Lincoln, she worked in the office at St. Therese Catholic Church, where she was a member, and also as an Aide at St. Therese School where she truly enjoyed the time spent with the schoolkids. She was a music fan, especially the Beatles and other artists from the 60's; she enjoyed reading and also playing online games. Kathy cherished the time she spent with her family & friends, and she enjoyed her nieces & nephews and their activities & events. She is survived by her sisters, Janet (Dean) Oxley and Rose Boneff, both of Fort Wayne, Anita (Dan) Gillespie of Leesburg and Margaret "Peggy" (Jim) Taylor of Carmel; her brother, Andrew (Cindy) Boneff of Churubusco and several nieces & nephews, and great nieces & nephews. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and by an infant sister, Marianne Boneff. Mass of Christian Resurrection 11:00am Monday, October 9, 2023 in St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Rd., with visitation in the church from 10:00-11:00am.
