Kathy Duncan, 58, of Wolf Lake, passed away on February 1, 2022, at her home. She was born in Merrillville, on September 21, 1963, to the late Robert and Leila (Wilson) Appleton. She spent her formative years in Noble County, where she attended Central Noble High School. Kathy then went to International Business College, where she became a Certified Medical Office Specialist. Kathy was married to Dave Duncan in Wolf Lake, on November 18, 2021. They had been together the last eight years. Kathy and Dave wanted to be married before she passed. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, embroidering and talking with anyone who wanted to talk. She cherished her time with Dave and her family. Kathy is survived by her husband, Dave Duncan; a daughter, Jessica (William) Mullins; a stepdaughter, Anna (Don) Thorton; two sisters, Karen Appleton and Brenda (Troy) Fleetwood; a brother, Roland "Chip" (Sara) Appleton; three granddaughters, Mya, Kenna and, Kyra Alexander; four step-grandchildren, Makayla, Victoria, and Dakota Dale, and Cadall Thorton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ben Ladig. Family will receive friends at Goodnews Baptist Church, on Monday, February 7, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A graveside service will take place at Wolf Lake Cemetery, at 10:00 a.m, on Tuesday, February 8, 2022.
