Kathy Kulstad Obituary

Kathy attended Chelan High School and graduated in 1970. She retired after 15 years working as a road construction flagger around 2018. She had previously worked in Alaska in food service and as a welders helper and worked in food service in Montana.
She enjoyed doing arts and crafts. She painted gold pans inspired by her stay in Alaska as well as crocheted and knitted. She was also enjoyed reading books when the weather was too bad to be in her garden. She grew and propagated a collection of house plants.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sisters: Karen Sweeney of Chelan, WA, Julie Southwick, of Tukwila, WA, and Jodie Southwick of Chelan, WA; nephews: Rob (Des) Sweeney of Deer Park, WA, and Todd (Jodi) Sweeny, of Chelan, WA; great-nieces: Taylor and Taryn; and great-nephews: Ryson and Mason.

Sorry to hear of her passing. I remember a bloodied nose from her on top of Chelan butte when she hit me in the nose with a snowball she forgot to let go of.
