Kathy Lykins, 72, of Eubank, Kentucky passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.

Kathy was born on June 12, 1952 to the late Grover and Stella (Debord) Pence in Pulaski County, Kentucky. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She enjoyed many hobbies like sewing, reading, taking care of her yard, and watching Gunsmoke. But she especially loved shooting guns and target practice. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Retired US Army Veteran of 23 years, and worked for the Veterans Administration for 21 years.

She is survived by her brothers, Tim & (Geneva) Pence, Grover Marion Pence, and Robert "Catfish" Pence; her sisters, Shirley & (Harrison) Strain, Joyce Pence, Karen & (John) Smiley, and Norma & (Dennis) Carlton; a sister-in-law, Dean Pence; two special nieces, Latosha Debord and Cheyene Hensley; a special nephew, Dustan Pence; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Lykins; her parents; her brothers, Roy "Bimbo" Pence and Buddy Pence; and a brother who died in infancy, David Pence.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Ogle officiating.

Burial will follow at Etna Cemetery.

Military Honors will be conducted by American Legion Post #38 Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends starting at 9 AM until time for services.
