Nancy Jean Lykins

Nancy Jean Lykins, age 71, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 in her residence at StoryPoint Troy during the early morning. She was born on November 6, 1954 to Homer and Phyllis Alexander, the middle of three children. She married Tom Lykins in 1973 and their loving relationship lasted until 2021 upon Tom's passing.

She also is preceded in death by her parents and brother William Alexander. She will be missed and remembered by her sister Missy; her children Matt (Emily), Ann (Jim), and Kelly (Todd), as well as her 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

An avid reader, hobbyist, and musician; Nancy enjoyed nothing as much as quiet afternoons knitting, shopping online, or playing with her dog Lily. She'll be remembered for her sense of humor, intelligence, and fierce curiosity.

The family will receive friends from 11 AM- 1 PM on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with a funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM.
