Kathy Lynn McEntee Malloy

Kathy Lynn McEntee Malloy passed away peacefully on January 10, 2026, at UC Health Medical Center in Loveland after a brief illness. She was surround by her family.

Kathy was born on April 4, 1954, in Sidney Nebraska to Leland Charles (Mac) and O Pauline Hiatt McEntee. Kathy and her family moved to Ft Collins in 1957 where her father started an Electrical Contracting business, C & M Electric.

She graduated from Poudre High School in 1972 and worked at Teledyne Water PIK for many years. After a work injury there she changed jobs and went to work at Thompson Valley Nutrition Services, working at several schools in Loveland and retiring after 22 years. She married the love of her life, William Chandler (Chan) Malloy on May 31.1996. They enjoyed thirty years together. Kathy loved working in her yard, raising a garden, trips to Blackhawk and researching her family's genealogy.

She is survived by her husband, William Chandler (Chan) Malloy, sisters Sandra Kay McEntee Robinette, (Nard-deceased) of Westminister CO & Judy McEntee Chadwick, (Gale) of Wellington CO and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Leland, mother Pauline, and stepfather Arnold (Val) Valentine.

There will be a private family gathering at the Lakeside Cemetery in Loveland Co at 12 noon on January 30th.
