Kathy Pierson

Kathy Pierson, age 69, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister to six siblings and friend to many. Kathy devoted much of her time to raising her children, supporting her husband and keeping up with the household, but she always managed to make time for reading her bible as well. She is survived by her dear husband of 50 years, Duane Pierson; her cherished children Brett Pierson, Lisa Giovannetti and Laryssa (William) Kelly; treasured grandchildren Lena, Jianna and Anayah; beloved great-grandchild Luca; devoted siblings Karen (Ken) Skopek, Diane Grabowski, Joyce (Thomas) Williams, Michael (Lisa) Lautermilch, David (Cindy) Lautermilch and Jeff (Sue) Lautermilch; numerous fond nieces, nephews and cousins. Kathy also leaves behind her devoted pup, Skylar and joins the beloved family dog Roxy. She is preceded in death by her dear parents Henry and Carmella (nee DiFoggio) Lautermilch. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 1-4 pm at Anderson Memorial Home, 21131 W Renwick Rd, Plainfield IL 60544. Cremations rites have been accorded.
