Kathy Preston Obituary
Born on October 24, 1957, in Miami, Florida, Kathy was the daughter of John Preston and Faye Johnson.
Kathy devoted more than 30 years of her life as a respiratory therapist, caring deeply for her patients and offering comfort to countless individuals and families. Her work was more than a profession-it was a reflection of her kind and giving heart.
She is lovingly remembered by her partner, Jeanette Billow; her mother, Faye Hartley; her brother, Gil Fickinger; her niece, Gabrielle; her nephew, Travis; and her great-nephew, Jude. She shared a special bond with her family and brought warmth and love to those closest to her.
Kathy will be remembered for her compassion, her gentle spirit, and the quiet strength she showed throughout her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A private family service will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026, in Pembroke Pines, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Kathy's memory to the Humane Society of Broward County.
