Kathy Robins

Virginia Kathleen "Kathy" Robins, age 80, of Gem Lake, Minnesota, passed away Monday, February 26, 2024, following a long and brave battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was surrounded by her loving family, chosen family, and friends. Preceded in death by her parents and husband, Solly Robins. Survived by son, Sean Robins (Ryan Lawson); daughter, Shannon (Rahsaan Yearwood); chosen children, Chris Fisher and Jennie Stricherz; partner of many years, Tom Folsom; brother, Roger Larson; nieces and nephews, Casey, Kelly, and Wylie; grandchildren (to whom she was lovingly known as "Aunt Kathy"), Andraya, Hasani, Emeka, Osi, Solya, and Xander Yearwood; and by countless friends and extended family. Kathy was always generous with family, friends, and toward causes special to her. She was loving, kind, and compassionate to everyone. She loved animals and they loved her just as much. She was passionate and dedicated to all things design, and the home she made over many decades stands as a reminder of many good memories for her loved ones. She will be missed always. Funeral service 1:30pm SUNDAY, March 3rd at MOUNT ZION TEMPLE, 1300 Summit Avenue, St. Paul, MN. The service will be livestreamed at mzion.org.
