Kathy Louise Linville Stroub, of Cynthiana, KY, age 70, passed away on January 26, 2024, at Harrison Memorial Hospital. She was born on July 17, 1953, to the late Clinton Linville and Alma Combs Lucky. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Joe Stroub; brothers, Tommy Linville, Bobby Linville, Billy Linville and Stevie Linville; and a sister, Della Kiskaden.
Kathy is survived by sons, Josh (Mandi) Stroub and James (Kim Vance) Soard; daughters, Rebecca (Gary) Jackson and Madison Soard; step-daughter, B.J. (Ashley) Bottoms; sisters, Delrena (Clell) Delk, Lisa (Carey) Arnold, Ruby (Gary) Carter, Peggy (Keith) Henson and Nancy Nickerson; grandchildren, Stephanie Niman, Lauren Doyle, Austin Jackson, Tyler Jackson, Faytlee Soard, Hunter Stroub, Liliauna Stroub, Whitney Soard, J.W. Soard, Katie Soard, Lesley Jordan Soard, Brandon Soard, Angeline Soard and Evan Soard; step-grandchildren, Kalib Ezzell and Logan Bottoms; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Eddie Soard.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Ware Funeral Home with visitation on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Ware Funeral Home. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Unity Christian Church, 848 KY-36, Cynthiana, KY 41031.
