It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Kathryn May Simon (AKA mama, sweety-kins, grandma, granny, Kathy) at the age of 72. Kathy was born in Forsyth MT. lived in many places and passed of natural causes April 24th 2025 at St. Alphonsus hospital in Boise ID.
Beloved mother, wife, grandmother, and great grandmother Kathy joins her parents Herman and Luella, brother Mike, sister Sherry, and many pets at the lords VIP table. Leaving behind her husband of 33 years Barry Simon, son and daughter in-law Leroy and Buffy White, daughter and son in-law Jennifer and Stefan Skinner, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and one little edition that is on his way.
Kathy was very proud of her family and service in the U.S.Army. Mama was trusting, kind, and had a heart of gold that would always see the best in everyone and gave all she had to help anyone. Mama was feisty to the end and never held back in showing you just what she thought to include the finger (or two if you needed it turned up) when she felt it appropriate. The stories she could tell of her life lived to the fullest will forever be remembered. Mama's fun loving spirit will be missed dearly. Rest in Peace mama you are forever loved!!!!!
