Katie Hamilton Obituary
Katie Hamilton was born on February 23, 1939 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Glen and Lillie Franks.
On October 07, 1966, she was united in marriage to George "Wally" Hamilton, who survives.
Katie worked at Cafe St. Clair as a waitress for 24 years. She previously worked at Wolfe Brothers- Horse Traders Restaurant. Katie owned a clothing store" Face and Form" for a year or little more. She was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Katie Hamilton departed this life on July 20, 2024 in Hardin County, Tennessee at the age of 85 years, 4 months, and 27 days.
She is survived by her husband, George "Wally" Hamilton of Savannah, Tennessee; niece, Annie Franks Hunt; countless other nieces and nephews that were special to her; and numerous brothers in law and sisters in law.
In addition to her parents, Katie was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Jo Webb and Willodene Franks; and brothers, Landis Franks, Finis Franks, Granville Franks, Jimmy Franks, and Guy Franks.
Pallbearers will be Barry Hamilton, Seth Dreaden, Clay Dreaden, Ajay Ruddle, Maddox Ruddle, and David Boutwell, with Rodney Bowden as an Honorary Pallbearer.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to The Hardin County Animal Shelter.
