Katie Lynn Olney, 43, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly on October 1, 2025 at her residence.
She was born April 8, 1982, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to Michael Olney (deceased) and Vicki Baker, of Chillicothe, who survives.
Katie is also survived by her children, Kylee, of Texas, Brayden and Maddie, both of Wellston. Relatives, include her granddaughter, Mazie; siblings, Kevin Fischer, Karla (Ryan) Poole, both of Chillicothe; step siblings, Michele Park, Delvin Park, both of Chillicothe and Joni Park, of Florida; maternal aunts, Chris (Bill) Doughty, Natalie (Ed) Matson, Kathy (Rick) Schrader; her uncle, Brad (Kris) Baker; and special friends, Terry Adams and Dean Park.
Katie will be remembered for her beautiful smile and bubbly personality. Katie had attended both Unioto and Southeastern Schools. She was active in cheerleading at both and even participated in the Citrus Bowl Pre-game performance. She worked at Texas Road House for several years and took pride in always providing excellent customer service.
A memorial graveside service, for family and friends to pay their respects, will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 26, 2025 in Floral Hills Memory Gardens with Dan Schrader officiating. There will be no public calling hours. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the WARE FUNERAL HOME for their services.
