Katie Louise Overy

Katie Louise Overy, age 42, of Oak Ridge, passed away, Friday, April 25, 2025 at her home.
She was born on August 23, 1982, the daughter of Joseph Henry Boyer and Kimbra Luebbers. She and Kelly Overy married on May 14, 2005.
Katie was a 2001 graduate of Jackson High School. She was very athletic and competitive, participating in softball in school, bowling, and other sporting competitions. Katie attended Connection Point Church in Jackson. She loved cooking, flower gardening, and spending time with her kids. She also was a car enthusiast and enjoyed the outdoors.
Loving survivors include her husband, Kelly; four children, Katelynn Schuler, Kierstyn Overy, Karsyn Overy, and Karter Overy; six siblings, Brooke Boyer, Jesse Boyer, Hillari Luebbers, Andrea Riebeling, Olivia Courtney-Riebeling, and Tracie Geiler; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Liz and Denny Overy.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The visitation will be from 5pm until service time on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The funeral service will be at 7 p.m., on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at the funeral home.
The family suggests that contributions be made to Connection Point Church.
