Hardester, Katlyn Amber-Lee of Arnold, Missouri, was born June 28, 2002 in St. Louis, Missouri to Rick and Sarah (nee Stevens) Hardester and entered into rest Thursday, June 23, 2022 in Arnold, Missouri at the age of 19 years, 11 months and 26 days.
She is preceded in death by, her grandfather, Phillip Stevens;
She is survived by, her parents; grandparents Dave and Kathy Melton and Sherry Stevens; great grandparents Glen and Francis Newkirk;
two (2) siblings; brother, Tyler Whitney and sister, Kendal Hardester;
eight (8) aunts and uncles; Joseph Stevens, Misty Stevens, Kimberly (Sam) Minchue, Roy (Billie) Hardester, and Scott (Amanda) Melton;
seven (7) cousins; Krystal (Kyle) Morgan, Savannah Stevens, Alyssa Lang, Kelsie Hardester, Kylie Hardester, Zachary Sutton, and Kyra Minchue;
two (2) great cousins; Eli Morgan and Anakin Becker;
along with numerous extended family and friends.
Katlyn was adventurous and loved the outdoors, especially being emersed in nature. She had a passion for fishing, and greatly enjoyed fishing with her father. She developed a unique interest in frogs, which she had as pets and even continued this passion later in life.
Being adventurous, Katlyn joined the Girl Scouts, and become quite the cookie salesperson. She played softball and soccer. She was obsessed with music and played the saxophone.
Katlyn was a loving daughter, sister, and granddaughter. She loved her family. Her brother, Tyler, is her best friend.
Katlyn enjoyed life and always wore a smile, which she often captured in "selfies". She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation Friday, July 1, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri. Interment to immediately follow at CHAPEL HILL MEMORIAL GARDENS.
