Katy Ann Douglas Roberts, age 84, of LaFollette passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024, surrounded by her Family and Friends. She was of the Baptist Faith. Katy was versatile in her occupations and was a caring caregiver for her Husband, and also a caregiver for several other individuals. She enjoyed cooking, quilt making, working in her flower garden, and helping others. Preceded in death by Husband, Al Roberts, Parents, Earl and Marie Heatherly Douglas, Brother, Joe Douglas (Joan) and an Infant Brother, James Douglas, Nephews, Rodney Douglas and Mark Ballard.
Survivors: Daughter, Lisa Roberts; Sister, Dorothy Douglas Ballard (Jack); Brother, Clyde Eddie Douglas (Jody); Niece, Candy Douglas; Nephews, Scott Ballard (Jenny), Mike Douglas (Amy), and James Douglas (Hasu); Several Great Nieces, Great-Great Nieces, Great Nephews, and Great-Great Nephews. Several other relatives, neighbors, and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel, with funeral services to follow at 7:00 P.M. with Evangelist Kevin Honeycutt and Minister and Brother, Eddie Douglas officiating. Family and friends will meet on Friday, July 26, 2024, 9:30 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Bakers Forge Cemetery for 10:00 A.M. graveside services and interment. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Katy Ann Douglas Roberts.
